Creativity and Aesthetics of Data & AI

Before this course, my interests spanned designing AI interactions, exploring post-humanism, and tackling societal issues through design. The course helped me connect these seemingly diverse interests by emphasizing speculation and making sense of complexity. I appreciated the unique approach of viewing AI as a translator, allowing us to explore designing with data and intelligence. In terms of development, I grew significantly in math, data, and computing by actually learning to program large language models and image recognition. As well as in the area of creativity and aesthetics by taking post-human perspectives, and speculations about the communication we have with plants
